Mister Magnusson’s front gate was a flimsy old wooden affair that had been in poor shape for a long time. Now that it was practically rusting off of its hinges, he decided it was time to get a new and aesthetic iron replacement.
Our Solution:
Mister Magnusson had a standard, five-foot walkway entrance, so we had no trouble finding a cast iron frame and bars in the needed sizes. The old hinges had to come out entirely, but the concrete garden wall they were set in remained sturdy enough to do this without complication. We screwed in some new hinges in the old boltholes and hung up the new double swing gate for testing.
