Mister Dorkept hadn’t kept his door in working condition! That was terrible, we know, no we’re not sorry for it. Anyway, the customer’s double-leafed gate kept opening partway before falling closed again, making it impossible to drive through.
Our Solution:
This sounded like an operator issue, so we had a look at the device’s settings and calibration. There didn’t seem to be anything off, so next, we disabled the safety sensor. The gate opened just fine after that, so we knew we’d found the problem! We cleaned, realigned, and patched some frayed wiring belonging to the sensors. That did the trick.
